Herea��s your January 2013 market update for Highland Utah real estate. We are reviewing the the numbers from January of this year as compared to January of 2012. Highland real estate got off to a slow start in January compared to last year in regard to the number of homes sold.

Homes Sold in Highland

This year there were 8 homes sold as compared to 13 in January 2012. We are only coming into February so this isna��t something to be too concerned about at this point. Although ita��s something wea��ll keep an eye on as we get further into the year.

The average days on market jumped from 76 to 160. Thata��s a 110% jump. This number is a little misleading due to the fact that one particular home (short sale) stayed on the market for almost a year so this had a negative impact on the days on market stat. I would expect this number to bounce back over the next couple months.

Median Sold Price

The median sold price is up from $307,000 in 2012 to $379,900 in January of this year.

Number of Homes Listed
